I keep hearing about how more regulations would have stopped the financial crisis that is happening now. I call BS on this. The crisis was created by CEOs who intentionally broke the laws. Just because you have more rules, if someone doesn't want to follow them, they won't. It is against the law to drive if you're impared. I someone decides to do it anyway, they will. You just hope no one gets hurt. You can't legislate people doing the right thing. However, you must punish the ones who do the wrong thing.
PS - Why hasn't Franklin Raines been frog marched for his razing of Fannie Mae?
