When I was in high school, my Latin teacher, Mrs. Virginia Dare, would post TFTDs on the blackboard. TFTD stands for Thought For The Day. I picked this one up from today's Indianapolis Star. Since the US Senate passed the Healthcare Bribery Bill this morning, I'm not sure I could phrase it better.
Christmas is a time when kids tell Santa what they want, and adults pay for it. It also might be a time when adults tell the government what they want, and their kids pay for it.
